Beaten down and broken by life, a man choosing to be known only by the title of “King” takes four hostages in brazen bank robbery. We follow King’s story as he reveals the trials of his life. As we learn what led him to such dire circumstances, a painful revelation will allow us to connect with King more than we would ever like to admit.
Dance and an artistically reimagined psychosis allow the audience to see into King’s thoughts and fears with viceregal immediacy. Through an exploration of the links between the past and the present we watch King grasp control of a life that is out of his hands to save someone very dear to him. As his mind descends into darkness, it will fall on to the hostages to bring him back from the brink of madness.

It will touch corners of the mind with the sensitive ideas surrounding the process of grief, how it affects our life and the relationships we have with others. In Between takes the most difficult and devastating parts of this process and shines a light on them for all to see.
