OPENING & CLOSING CEREMONY
Be immersed in music and dance. Be amazed by the large-scale puppets, circus and fire twirlers. Be guided by musical creatures, that will transport you from your everyday life into the magical experience that is Sprung Festival.
2018 Sprung Opening and Closing Ceremonies are outdoor immersive experiences that celebrate the beginning and finale of the festival. Get a glimpse of what each show has to offer by crossing through portals into a new world filled with wonderful characters.
The Opening Ceremony will provide a tasting platter of what’s on offer in the following two weeks as well as illuminating the SPRUNG sign.
The Closing Ceremony serves as a celebration and final crescendo of fire, music and dance that will encapsulate the essence of Sprung and wrap up the entire festival.

INDUSTRY PANEL FORUM

Following the success of Sprung Festival 2016's Women of TM and 2017’s TM Pathways, Voices of TM will take place on Friday the 28th of September.
The seminar will contain a conversational forum followed by breakout sessions and workshops led by Theatre/Media graduates. The focus of this years session is on people who work or have worked in rural and remote locations or with youth and indigenous peoples.
This event is a chance for current and prospective students to network with industry professionals and to gain an insight into the diverse career opportunities that may arise from the Theatre/Media degree.
